2023 Ado Odo/Ota Reps: Why Tunji Akinosi Will Defeat Jimoh Ojugbele At Primaries!

... Why Leaders Are Disappointed In Ojugbele's 12 Year Performance In National Assembly

More facts have emerged to indicate that the current Commissioner for Forestry in Ogun State, Hon. Tunji Akinosi is the preferred aspirant to represent Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives from 2023.

It was revealed that placed side by side the incumbent member of the Federal House of Representatives from the area, Hon. Jimoh Ojugbele, Akinosi is a better choice and the man that can take much development to the highly industrialised community.

Sources within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) said that the delegates from the area have concluded that they would not allow what befell them 12 years ago, when they setteled for Hon. Ojugbele, continue, and that “we have had enough of a man that is just in the House and has not done anything to affect our community positively. Affliction must not rise again as the Holy Bible says.”

They stressed that 12 years ago, when Hon. Jimoh Ojugbele was overwhelmingly voted for to represent the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, the people looked forward to a better life and massive development on all fronts.

However, they said that the opposite is now the case as “Ojugbele has not been able to do much for us or fulfill his campaign promises to the residents of the area.”

Residents of Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency stated that they had expected that long years in the green chamber would help the lawmaker contribute to the development of the constituency, but that contrary is the case at the moment.

Ojugbele was accused of not speaking on the floor for the area on the floor of the House and that he is busy protecting his own interest in Abuja rather than speaking for the people of the constituency.

“We have never felt the impact of Hon. Ojugbele since he got to the Federal House of Representatives 12 years ago.

“Most of the projects he claimed to have done are not real and he just comes around during electioneering period to deceive the party leaders and residents that he would perform and give unnecessary excuses.

“Ojugbele has never spoken on the floor of the House. Let him come and tell us what he has done for us.

“We are suffering in Ado-Odo/Ota. Despite the fact that this is an industrialised area, ou roads are bad, we have no public school, there are no social amenities of any kind in the area as if we don’t have anybody at the green chamber,” a source, Ojo Adewale said.

In his view, another resident of the area, Kehinde Ishola, who said that this is not the best of times for the community despite the fact that they have Ojugbele as their representative, said that the community would not allow him to return to the House in 2023.

On his part, Akinosi was credited with much achievements as a commissioner in Ogun State.

They described him as a man of the people, a grassroots politician, who has used his influence to assist the people of the area since he got to office in 2019.

We were reliably informed that the leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado-Odo/Ota area have made up their minds to give their support to Akionsi, who they see as a better aspirant and a man who will listen to the yearnings of the people, when he gets to office in 2023 as he has been doing as a commissioner in Ogun State.

Investigations revealed that the people of Ado-Odo/Ota believes that time has come to move on and support a progressive that would make life better for the people in the coming years.
