THE Ibadan Football Council (IFC) Chairman, Mogaji Rotimi Alli has counseled players and football Stakeholders in Ibadanland to make moderation their guiding principle as they celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr festival.
In a special message made available to IFC Media, Mogaji Alli noted that as sportsmen, they should make sure that they maintain the piety and holiness observed during the Ramadan period and let it be an integral part of them .
Popularly known as Libero, the IFC helmsman prayed that all the prayers observed during the fasting period would be answered.
He also prayed that the remaining part of the soccer season would be injury-free for the players, stressing that they would soon feature on the national and global stages of football.
Mogaji Alli reiterated that his Council would continue to provide level playing ground for all teams to flourish.
He thanked all the teams, Stakeholders and officials for their cooperation and affirmed that his Council’s commitment to developing the game further remained unwaivering and steadfast.
