APC Convention: How Senator Adeola Yayi Bankrolled Flight Tickets, Accommodation For Ogun Delegates, Observers In Abuja!

Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan (Yayi), representing Lagos West with a plan to move to Ogun West in 2023 has been described as a man with a large heart, who is ready to assist whenever an opportunity presents itself.

Yayi we were told, bankrolled flight tickets and provided accommodation over 100 hotel rooms for Ogun delegates, and observers in Abuja, the bulk going to delegates from Ogun West, for the convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) holding in the city today Saturday March 26, 2022.

Not only this, the celebrated Senator and politician was said to have also given the politicians some stipends as they attend the convention and be part of the success story of the ruling party.

Some members of the APC in Ogun State, who spoke to us anonymously on the issue, said that Yayi has proven to be a responsible politician that knows what to do to keep the flag of the party flying.

“Some politicians flew to Abuja alone while some came with girlfriends, but they will get back home and be shouting they are son of the soil and be handed the ticket.These jokers should not be taken serious in this political game at all.”

They added that with the likes of Yayi, Ogun State and Ogun West will have better life from this moment.

“Yayi has proven to be the man to support. We are happy with his style. His generosity did not start today, he has been reaching out to us even before election period came, so whatever he is doing is not because he wants to win election.

“Yayi has our support anytime he needs it. We will queue behind him. If not for him some of us would not be here,” a source said.

We were reliably informed that members of the APC in Ogun West are earnestly awaiting the declaration of Senator Yayi for his senatorial ambition from Ogun West in 2023 and that people have started campaigning on his behalf without any inducement as they believe that “Yayi is ready to serve and he has all that we need to move Ogun West forward from 2023.”

They were said to have warned others with similar ambition to step down for Yayi and support the man, who they said has enough experience and financial capability to campaign for the office and occupy the seat in 2023.

“Yayi is the only man that can battle the opposition and people will troop behind him.

“He has the requisite experience as a lawmaker for 19 years, he has the financial muscle and the necessary connection to make things work for our senatorial district as our representative at the red chamber,” a source, who gave his name as Rotimi Ishola, said.
