Tunji Akinosi, Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado-Odo/Ota, Ogun State for the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Tunji Akinosi has urged Nigerian Christians to embrace peace and unity as they celebrate the Year 2022 Christmas.
Akinosi said in a statement he personally signed that the current situations in the country call for retrospection and sacrifice by all Nigerians, saying that better days are definitely ahead for the nation.
“It is a thing of joy that we are all alive to celebrate another Christmas on the planet earth. I want to enjoin our people to show love to one another as we mark the birth of our lord Jesus Christ, who symbolises love, unity and endurance.
“All hopes are not lost for our nation, what we need is determination by both the leaders and the led. Nigeria is at the verge of moving to the next level politically, socially and economically.
“Let us join hands to build an enviable nation that all of us would be proud of. We cannot afford to joke with our future, so let us all be united.
“While we are not unmindful of the current situations in the country, I want to appeal that we should be formidable so that we can get to our Promised Land, soon” he said.
The former Commissioner stressed that the Christmas season calls for an opportunity for Nigerians to come together and pray so that the nation could surmount her challenges, while promising that the APC-led government is ready to do its best for the development of the country.
He explained that there is no doubt that Nigerians are resilient, adding that it is a matter of time before the people of the country would rejoice and have a new lease of life.
“There is light at the end of the tunnel. We have the potentials to be great and all these would further be harnessed by the APC-led government both at the state and at the federal levels.
“Our best is yet to come, very soon we will all have cause to celebrate, when we shall begin to eat the fruits of our labour,” he said, while urging the people to participate in the 2023 General Elections and vote for the APC across board.
