Covid 19: Ogun Begins Second Dose Vaccination

Ogun State Government in collaboration with Development Partners in the health sector have begun the administration’s second dose of Covid 19 vaccination in line with the guidelines from National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) to residents that have taken the first dose in designated facilities across the State.

This was made known through a press release signed by the Commissioner for Health, Dr,Tomi Coker indicated that the Exercise, which began on Monday, 24th May will hold through Friday, 9th July, 2021.

Dr Tomi noted that the exercise will be available for all residents and clients that have received the first dose within a minimum of six weeks and above between the first and second dose.

She further advised clients to present their vaccination card at Health facilities where they got the first dose to receive the second dose.

Adding that implementation of other phases of the COVID 19 vaccination shall be announced as event unfolds.

However, she urged Ogun state residents to seized the opportunity of the exercise to get their second dose vaccination and be protected against the Covid 19 virus.
