A kingmaker and the Aro of Itele-Awori in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, Chief Jimoh Ojubanire, has described the Chairman, Deuce Gas & Oil Nigeria Limited, Prince Demola Eletu-Odibo, as an icon whose track records in all facets of life remained unbeatable for the vacant stool of the Onitele of Itele-Awori, Ogun State.

Chief Ojubanire, who made this remark during a town hall meeting at Itele over the weekend, noted that the choice of Prince Eletu-Odibo as the next Onitele of Itele-Awori by all sons and daughters of the community would renew hope of a new Itele where peace and socio-economic development will be the order of the day.

The community leader applauded the seasoned Entrepreneur for his immense contributions to the socio-economic growth of Aworiland and Ogun State in particular and Nigeria in general.

He expressed joy in the people’s choice of Prince Eletu-Odibo for the Onitele vacant stool, stressing that apart from being a shrewd businessman, he had successfully stood against the absurdities of life and raised the bar for equity, justice and peace.

In a similar vein, the Baale of Iliwo-Itele, Chief Adekoya Adesina Fasina, explained that the honour on Prince Eletu-Odibo by the people was not only in recognition of his patriotism and belief in the unity of Nigeria, but also in appreciation of his philanthropy and achievements.

Chief Fasina further stressed that all community leaders and the entire people of Itele-Awori had considered Prince Eletu-Odibo’s stirling qualities of honesty, exemplary leadership, business acumen and integrity before finding him worthy of the choice for the Onitele stool.

He portrayed Prince Eletu-Odibo as a diplomat of moral courage and rectitude whose passion and dedication to the advancement of the Nigerian society was unequalled.

The community secretary and a youth leader who spoke on behalf of Itele Youths Forum, an umbrella body for all the youths in the community, Mr Gbenga Ayedogbon, stated that all the youths in the town were in support of Prince Eletu-Odibo’s choice and promised their unflinching loyalty and identification with his choice for the development of Itele-Awori and Ogun State in general.

“We are proud of this man with horrendous achievements and a big zest that has provided the platform for many to rest and we are happy to identify with his choice for the development of Itele-Awori.”

Mr Ayedogbon, however, thanked the community leaders, all Baales in the town and the entire people for their support for Prince Eletu-Odibo’s aspiration, adding that this had, no doubt, demonstrated an open identification with an emerging success story that would bring succour, hope and relief to the people.
