Ogun Central Senatorial District PDP Candidate, Aderinokun Provides Succour For Residents
Foremost politician and the Ogun Central Senatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olumide Aderinokun has continued to reach out to the people of his constituency as a way of ameliorating their suffering and making life comfortable for them.
The businessman/philanthropic-turned politician has proven to be a reliable man, whose affection for the people goes beyond wooing them for election purposes.
According to Aderinokun, “my love for the people goes beyond seeking political office. I have been doing this over the years, even when there was no election and I will never forsake my people no matter what happens.
“We have constant programmes for the people of Ogun Central Senatorial District, and we are the heart of the state as the most populated district.
“However, my seeking to represent them at the Senate from 2023 under the PDP was borne out of my desire to attract development to the area, which is what I will do once I win the election in 2023.
“But this will still not stop my personal programmes for the people, which I will continue to do throughout my lifetime by the special grace of the Almighty God.”
Parts of the personal empowerment programme of the passionate politician is the ongoing non-interest loans of #30,000 given to 600 market men and women in Ogun Central Senatorial District
This is in addition to scholarship awards worth #50,000 each to 60 students from the six Local Government Areas in the district, and grassroots football development in Ifo, Ewekoro and Obafemi-Owode Local Government Areas to promote talent discovery and community unity
Aderinokun is also involved in the construction of 19 borehole projects across Ogun Central with two water tanks and a generator each, donation of mobile lawyers office in Isabo Magistrate Court to help in free legal services for indigenes of Ogun State.
Some of his other projects are grading of Ofada Road, Ayerose Road, Oba road in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area, grading of Sammy Road, Opposite Illugun High School, Abeokuta North Local Government Area, and grading of Bode Olufemi Road, Onward Estate down to Ile pupa, Odeda Local Government Area
He has also donated one million naira to support the construction of Apete Bridge in Obantoko, Odeda Local Government Area.
These are few of the programmes that Aderinokun has embarked upon over the years and the residents of the area are said to be prepared to pay him back by giving him their votes, when the time comes in 2023.
