‘I Will Ensure Development Of Ado-Odo/Ota LG’ – Chairman, Sheriff Musa Tells Group

 

The Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo Ota Local Governnent, Ogun State, Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa SAM20 has promised to work assidously for the development of the local government as Chairman.

Musa stated this, when he hosted Ado-Odo/Ota Citizen Engagement Platform, a coalition of NGOs created with the aim to bring about monumental development to the local government.

The group was led by its Board Chairman, Mr Bolaji Oyedeko.

Mr Bolaji Oyedeko spoke extensively on plans and ideas to help propel Ado-Odo)Ota LG to greater heights.

Hon. Sheriff Musa, in his response thanked the Deputy Governor of the state, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele and the political leaders in Ado-Odo/Ota for the ample opportunity, which he said enabled him to translate his dreams, ideas and plans into reality in achieving a greater and better Ado-Odo/Ota.

He also thanked the conveners of Citizen Engagement Platform and spoke about his readiness to work with such groups that have good intentions for the local government.

The Chairman also spoke on his readiness to key into integrity and accountability so as to maintain public trust and to galvanise all opportunities within the Public Private Particapation (PPP) initiative “for the good people of Ado-Odo Ota Local government.”

He then sought the support of the group, “for us to do it together as our slogan implies “Ajose wa ni” and we shall also have a periodical performance evaluation that will be our guide.”

The meeting came to an end as Mr Bolaji Oyedeko presented; “The People Chatter” a document, which encapsulates eight key areas to work on for the betterment of the local government.
