She spoke in reference to many indigenous people of the state who are leading in Universities abroad while receiving members of the Ogun Youth Advocate For Social Development (OGYASD) in her Oke-Mosan office in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital on Wednesday.

The OGYASD is a non-governmental association, saddled with the responsibility of orientating the youth on the importance of peace and development in Ogun state.

The OGYASD President, Comrade Oluseyi Alamu who lauded the effort of Governor Abiodun in youth development described him as a man of the people and a lover of the youths.

According to Alamu, against all odds, governor Abiodun has chosen to stand by the youths and has been an exceptional governor amongst all the governors the state as produced ever.

The OGYASD President urged Governor Dapo Abiodun not to rest on his oars in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the state, especially the youths.

He said “As far as Ogun state is concerned, the youth of our great state regard you as a kind hearted, ever caring, accormmodating , mother with listening ears that loves the youths with all her heart and would do anything within her power to ensure that youths are recognised and empowered in the Society.

“Pondering on your deeds and actions towards your efforts in giving palliative stimulus to the Ogun Youth Advocate, less privilege and vulnerable in our society, in cushioning the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, leaves one with feeling that indeed you are not only living on the earth but you are also wealth in God’s kingdom.
