Ogun Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, Aderinokun, Wife, Host Children At Christmas Party

Over 2,000 children were recently hosted at the Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, by the party’s Senatorial Candidate in Ogun Central in the 2023 general elections, Chief Olumide Aderinokun for the third edition of the annual Christmas Party organised by Olumide Aderinokun and Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation.

In addition to the provision of food and drinks, every child left the PDP secretariat with a smile and gift pack.

Speaking at the event, Aderinokun stated that the programme was his own way of reaching out to the less privileged and children as a way of extending his love to them during the Yuletide.

The passionate politician and humanitarian stressed that Christmas is a period of showing love to others, adding that he was prepared to do more for the people if given the opportunity to serve at the senate.

While emphasising that Nigerians should not suffer amidst plenty, Aderinokun said that his love for the masses has no limit, and that time has come for the people to take their destiny in their hands.

“I am happy to extend my hands of fellowship to all of you. My love for children and the masses has no boundaries. What we are doing today will continue as long as we are alive.

“The PDP is a people-oriented party. We will stop at nothing to make the people happy and indeed the best is yet to come. This is just a tip of the iceberg and I want you to know that we value people in our party and I will never disappoint you as an individual,” he said.

Aderinokun stated that Christmas is a period of love, saying that what Nigeria needs at this moment is love, and peace, which he said is the center point of the programmes of the PDP.

He emphasised that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed Nigerians in all aspects, but that the PDP will come to the rescue both in Ogun State and at the federal level.

According to him, any party that cannot provide the basic things of life for the masses should not be trusted with power, and that the PDP has outlined various programmes to make life comfortable for the people.

Some of the children at the event as well as their parents expressed appreciation to Chief Aderinokun and the foundation, adding that it is glaring that he would serve the interest of the people if voted into office in 2023.
