Ogun Senior Civil Servants Pass Vote Of Confidence On Imasayi Oba-Elect

.....pay him courtesy visit over his emergence

 

The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) has paid the Oba-elect of Imasayi, Oba Lukmon Adeleke a courtesy visit over his recent emergence as the new monarch of one town in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The Senior Civil Servants during the visit passed a vote of confidence on the Comrade cum monarch on Thursday in the State.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the visit,Ogun state chairman of ASCSN, Comrade Olude Isa noted that the emergence of Comrade Adeleke as the new Olu of Imasayi will bring rapid development to the axis.

Olude stressed that the Oba-elect is a veteran Comrade who will use his wealth of experience to bring growth to the community, and help the people discover potentials for personal wealth.

In his words, “I have no doubt in my mind that, Kabiyesi would bring the experience of comradeship to bear in this circumstance.

“Association called the attention of Kabiyesi to the welfare of workers, as comrades, we know that at intervals, government used to invite traditional rulers for discussion, and as one of us, he would be able to probably interfere on our case and propel our crusade to the government of the day.

“On the issue of education, which I also raised, event in Ogun state in recently, shows that, the students have not shown enough commitment and this is a call to all the concerned individuals: parents, traditional institutions and the community, to be bothered and critically be proactive to solving that challenge.

“We further called the attention of Kabiyesi to the case of discipline decadence in the society, and in our schools in particular, which should be corrected even from school environment.”

Also speaking, the Chairman of ASCSN, Federal Chapter, Comrade Adeniyi Ganiyu explained that the Oba-elect had served in different capacity as a labour leader.

Ganiyu noted that, the experience the new monarch has gathered in trainings will come to use during his reign.

He added, “Just like my counterpart has mentioned, to have served as a labour leader, most especially as a veteran from Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria.

“We do not expect anything less than the trainings and retrainings that we have been able to enjoy. And then he should be able to make that reflective in his reign in other to move the town forward.

“As a bureaucrat, we are vase and well-grounded in what we are supposed to do as an individual but not also as a group but as a town and as a people .

“We are sure and by God’s grace that quick, visible development will begin to happen in the town.

“And you see that from his approach by being all-inclusive, by which readily advanced the course of development and growth of any race, and so we are expected that to happen.”

The monarch in his remarks however promised to embark capacity building for the people of the community
