Ogun Assembly Invites More Individuals On Land Grabbing Allegations, Threatens Arrest Of Three Others

In continuation of its activities on the investigations on allegation of land grabbing against some individuals leading to illegal sales of landed properties at Oke-Olobo Iyoke, Via Abule Ake in Olusegun Obasanjo Hilltop around Idi- Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State House of Assembly has extended another invitation to those alleged and four others in connection with the expanse of land.

The Chairman, House Committee on Lands and Housing, Damilola Soneye issued the directive while addressing parties on the issues, noting that failure to honour this invitation would cause the Assembly to evoke relevant sections of the constitution to effect their arrest within the record time.

According to Soneye, those invited included Sina Faneye of No. 5 Adatan Road, Ligere Compound, Isale- Ake, Abeokuta, Femi Sowunmi of Akikem Properties, Mrs Sadia Gbotie Bankole of 2, Mologede Street, Magbon, Abeokuta, Suraju Asiriabo of Surry Survey and Associates situated at 13, Goshen Estate, Asero and Toyosi Enilolobo of no 5, Mesioye Street, Lantoro, Abeokuta.

The respondents are expected to appear for the next meeting with the lawmakers on Wednesday, 6th September, 2023 at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta at 11:00am prompt.
