Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has reassured foreign investors of a conducive environment for the growth of their investments in the State
The Governor gave the assurance on Thursday while receiving in audience the management team of a multinational company, Apple and Pears said his Administration is determined to ensure that Ogun State maintains its status as an investment destination of first choice in the country.
“We have put in place investment friendly policies and programmes, including a stong security architecture for us continue to attract investment into our State”, the Governor said, adding that “we will do everything necessary to keep investors happy in Ogun State.
Gov. Abiodun thanked the team led by its Chairman, Habib Jaafar for the company’s current investment in the State and for its corporate social responsibilities, especially at the Gateway City Monument at the Sagamu interchange.
Earlier Mr. Jaafar, while briefing the Governor on the purpose of his team’s visit express delight at the various policies and programmes put in place to attract investment into the State.
He informed the Governor of the readiness of Apple and Pears to expand its investment portfolio in the state and to also facilitate other investors to come to the State,
Jaafar was accompanied on the visit by Group Managing Director, Mr Shekhar Ghate and Managing Director Ali Hasbini.
