Dapo Abiodun Disciples, Ijebu East LG, congratulate Governor Abiodun On Double Wins As Governor Of The Year

• Dapo Abiodun Disciples, a Youth political group in Ijebu East local government area, has felicitated the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on his double-award as Governor of the Year by Sun newspaper group and Silverbird Television; describing the unique awards as “a result of hardwork.”

In a congratulatory message released by the leader of the group, Hon. Akindele Fasheyi, who is also the Leader of the Legislative Council of Ijebu East Local Government, Ogbere, he stated that the group “is delighted that the hard working Governor got the awards by merit without any iota of doubt.”

According to him, “H.E Dapo Abiodun’s achievements had transversed the three Senatorial districts of the state, thereby making him an unbiased and fair distributor of the state resources in the provision of infrastructures.”

“The state couldn’t have fared better without the effectiveness of the Governor who has been diligent in delivering the basic dividends of democracy to the good people of the State. His actions in the area of developmental projects have taken the state far ahead of others.”

Hon. Fasheyi stated further: “As a second term Governor and considering his achievements in his first term, it is certain that if the same trend or pace is maintained, Ogun State will continue to be the destination of choice for all major investors not just Nigeria but also in Africa at large.

“While congratulating the Governor, we also commend Sun group of newspapers and Silverbird Television for taking cognisance of the contributions of Mr. Governor in the areas of Housing, road construction and rehabilitation, sports and youth development, social welfare, medical and health development and transportation in the state”, the statement concluded
